2010 calendar and activities

The Leggies Ladies meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 2.30pm at Pujols - your €5 subscription buys you a raffle ticket and the lucky ticket holder gets their subscription returned.

 

 

2010:

 

January 6th:              Talk:  "Cancer Research" by Professor Philip Gallimore

                                          Competition:  My Worst Christmas Present

 

February 3rd:           Demonstration: "Kitchen Skills - A Cut Above The Rest" by chef Rob Wall

                                          Competition:  a decorated fairy cake

 

March 3rd:                 Talk and Demonstration:  "Country and Line Dancing" by Vivienne Gane.

                                          Competition:  Easter Bonnets.  Show off your design skills and wear a

                                        decorated hat!

 

April 7th:                     Talk:  "Showing at Crufts" by Annechien Smith

                                          Competition:  your favourite animal poem or book

                                       

                                        The April meeting will commence with Leggies' Annual General Meeting

                                       and details will announced prior to this date.

 

May 5th:                      OUTING:  Meet at Plantes de Pailloles at LaCapelle-Biron (47150) at 1pm, to

                                     visit the plant nursery and have your garden questions answered.  Bring a

                                     picnic lunch.    More details here  - booking deadline 3rd May.

                                            Competition:  your favourite indoor plant

 

June 2nd:                      Talk:  "Walking the Great Wall of China" by Sarah Vant

                                            Competition:  an unusual or interesting holiday souvenir

 

 

There are no meetings planned for July and August 2010.
